The problem
Sewage is waste is defined as the water and excrement located in sewers. Seweres contain waste matter from domestic or industrial establishments that is carried away through the sewers or drains for dumping or converting into a form that is not toxic.
The problem is that we dump the toxins and are released into rivers through the sewage water. this water is then consumed by fish and other aquatic organisms; depending on the fish, the toxins may find its way into our food chain. It is discovered that coral reefs get affected by sewage pollution all through out the world. The sewage water that is dumped in oceans can affect the reefs to great extent. The toxins in polluted water actually slow down the growth of corals.
